M&S Launches 1950s-Inspired 2012 Bridal Lingerie Collection

Every woman should look beautiful for her wedding day (and night). And the right gown starts with the right lingerie to make sure that you celebrate your big day (and night) in style. M&S have designed this beautiful wedding line to not just complement, but to help provide that extra self-esteem boost on your big day. In other words, the collection is designed to make any bride feel confident, comfy and sexy on their wedding day with a right combination of support, sculpting & style.

Marks & Spencer used the Goring Hotel in London’s Mayfair for presenting their new underwear collection. To be precise, M&S unveiled the collection outside hotel! The sight of almost-naked models standing at the steps of the entrance would probably have come as something of a shock to many. But employees at the Goring Hotel are used to witnessing a bit of drama, because the hotel was made famous earlier this year as the base for the Middleton family at the royal wedding. The hotel has ever since become a regular haunt for the Royal set.

The 2012 line combines silk with delicate, vintage-inspired lace and has intricate stitching detail. Some of the most beautiful pieces from this collection include a longline and multi-way bra, stylish high waist panties and corset. The bridal collection includes nightwear, garters and stockings too.

  1. This is beautiful stuff. Now, if only 1950’s style swimsuits would come back in style. *Sigh* I could use a little more coverup, if you know what I mean. 🙂
