My Wedding Hairpiece

I’m engaged, so now what? I’ve told all my friends and they were all happy for me. I even told my neighbors (who I don’t like) about my engagement. They seemed happy too. Or maybe they just acted happy – don’t really care, as long as I have my beautiful ring. OMG! I’m engaged! It’s wedding planning time!

For the last couple of days, I have been looking at my wedding hairpiece thinking about my hairstyle for my big day. Is it beautiful? It definitely is! I bought it in a small wedding dress shop several days ago and it’s super cute and just perfect. Yep, this is the first thing I bought for my big day. Weird? I think not. On the other hand, I am a little disorganized these days. And as you probably know, disorganization is a scientifically proven symptom of being engaged.

It’s not a designer hairpiece (there’s a high probability it says ‘Made in China’ somewhere on it), so the price was great. I’ve paid only $20 for it. This seems pretty cheap if you ask me, especially when compared to some designer hairpieces. Not only can they be expensive, but it can be hard to find good ones because there are so many designers and so many different styles.

Now back to my hairpiece. I fell in love with it while shopping several days ago and decided to base my hairstyle on it. I’m thinking 1950s curls updo. I have the right hair length and I want to look kinda glamorous and foxy at the same time (but not too flashy). I just know this hairstyle will look great on me.

Feel free to post links to your favorite wedding hairpiece designers here. Of course, they do not have to be wedding-related. Links to some cool photos are welcome as well!

p.s. No, it’s not a Pronovias hairpiece. I just used their picture perfect catalog as a backdrop for the photo.
