Wedding Dress Colors: What’s Sizzling and What’s Fizzling

If you decide you’d like anything except traditional snowy white, the worst thing you can do is pick a dress that is extremely bright. Nothing screams “bad taste” like a pink bride who has several levels of fake tan to compete with her wedding dress. Color, if used in moderation, will match any theme, flower arrangements and overall décor and give your big day wonderful finesse. Use pale, muted shades – for example, lime green or bright fuchsia work great – and compliment your makeup. If you really want to use color in the whole gown, go for a white dress with a patterned bodice, sash or perhaps colored trim.
